Return Policy
- We make returns as easy as possible for our customers. Most orders can be returned. There are reasons that you cannot return your item and they are as follows:
- 1. The item is opened or damaged by the consumer thus preventing Tool House, Inc. from reselling the item.
- 2. The item has been used or your replacement part has been installed in a tool.
- 3. The order was completed/shipped more than 30 days ago.
Returns on incorrectly received items:
Tool House, Inc. will cover all costs of replacing items that are shipped incorrectly. We will ship a replacement right away and there will be no extra charges for shipping or merchandise. We will include a prepaid return shipping label with the replacement shipment to return the incorrect item(s) to us. - Returns on incorrectly ordered items or gift returns:
- If you accidentally ordered a wrong item or you have a gift return, it is returnable for up to 30 days after the original shipment date. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. You will be refunded in full unless your order had free shipping. Orders that had free shipping will be refunded in full less the original shipping cost. All other orders will be refunded in full less your original paid shipping cost. Returned items must be in unopened and undamaged condition and sent with a copy of the original receipt.
- Returns on defective items:
- You must contact the manufacturer for replacement of a defective item. Call us at 888-513-4744 if you need assistance with contacting the manufacturer.
Special Order Items
- We stock a huge selection of parts and tools in our warehouse, but with so many power tools and parts available we are simply unable to stock every part for every tool or every tool. Listed on our site are items that are readily available and items that must be special ordered from the manufacturer. This gives you access to every available tool and tool part, but there are lead times for special order items while we wait for the parts to arrive. Most special order items arrive at our warehouse first and we then immediately ship them to our customers. We estimate that most special order items will ship 5-10 business days after you place your order. The average wait until shipment on special order items is approximately 5 business days. Sometimes we will have special order items drop shipped to you in an effort to get your items to you much quicker. We reserve the right to decide if an item will be drop shipped. Manufacturers ship via multiple shipping providers and tracking data is not provided on these orders.
Back Ordered Items
- While infrequent, manufacturers sometimes run out of an item entirely. An item is considered on back order when we do not have an item in our warehouse and the manufacturer has also sold out of the item. We are unable to obtain the item for you until the manufacturer can send us one, and sometimes the process can take weeks or even months. We make every effort to notify customers of back orders as soon as possible, but because items can go on back order without notice, it is possible to purchase an item that we did not know was on back order. If we find that you have ordered a back ordered item, we will notify you as soon as possible. You can then decide whether to keep the order open as-is or drop the back ordered item from the order. If you do decide to keep a back order open we will ship the item as soon as it arrives at our warehouse.
Discontinued / Obsolete Items
- Power tools have a limited support life, and after a few years the manufacturer may decide to discontinue some or all of the replacement parts for a tool. This applies to tool accessories as well. Power tool manufacturers can discontinue a part without notice, and if we did not find out about the discontinuation, it is possible to order a a discontinued part. If a part on your order is discontinued, we will contact you immediately and make arrangements for a full refund.
Shipping Information
- Orders without free shipping:
- We Have daily shipments M-F via UPS and USPS. If your item is in stock and your order was placed before 11pm EST your order will usually ship out the same day. Tracking data is provided for all in stock orders. If an order is placed with a special order item or a back-ordered item, your order will ship within one business day of receiving your items at our warehouse.
- Orders with free shipping:
- When we ship items out that have free shipping, here is the rule that we follow. If you have an item that weighs more than 13 ounces it is shipped via UPS Ground. If it weighs less than 13 ounces it is shipped via USPS First Class Parcel. You will be provided with a tracking number for both methods. Also, if your address is a P.O. Box we will ship your package via USPS in every case. On orders with free shipping, Tool House, Inc. reserves the right to ship via whatever means we deem as most cost effective regardless of the free shipping method chosen.
Canceling Orders
- If you place an order and later decide to cancel it, you are free to do so as long as the order has not shipped. Canceled orders are refunded in full regardless of what you ordered. The money will be returned to your credit card. We recommend that you call us during business hours to cancel your order, but if you prefer you can email us to cancel as well. We are unable to cancel or recall shipped/drop shipped orders, so if you want to return a shipped order it will be handled according to our return policy.

Tool House, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any sale due to improper pricing or advertising. If this occurs you will be notified immediately.
