For the first time, edges, borders, profiles and now also flat surfaces can be sanded with only one power tool! Performance is uncompromised for the work speed or surface finishing quality. If you are an existing FEIN Multimaster or Supercut owner you do need an orbital sander, random orbitsander or eccentric grinder! Only state-to-the-art (and extremely expensive) random orbit sanders are quicker on surfaces. However, these tools are NOT suitable for edges and profiles.
The oscillating movement provides other benefits when surface sanding:
- Sanding tasks can be carried with great control.
- The sanding dust is not thrown into the air, but remains on the work surface.
- With the existing dust extraction device (that is included in the Multimaster Top Set) dust-free sanding is possible.
- Compared to random orbit sanders, it is possible to work close to edges WITHOUT any recoil effect.

Additional Information:
The new, round sanding pad has been developed for the FEIN MultiMaster FMM 250, FMM 250 Q and the new FEIN SuperCut FSC 2.0 Q / FSC 1.6 Q. It is not possible to use the sanding pad with previously delivered MSx 636 II, MSx 315, FSN 400 E or FSC 2.0/1.6 without QI due to the insufficient torque transmission. Upgrade to the newest Multimaster or Supercut now to get them most bang for your buck!
Please use the 4.5 inch sanding pad only with FEIN sanding sheets ONLY!! The sanding pad (Velcro) could be destroyed when using competitive sanding sheets - in this case we do not assume any warranty. Oscillating tools of competitors are NOT suitable for using the 4.5 Inch sanding pad (these tools are too weak)!
